SMP - COMING SOON
Scalp Micropigmentation - SMP Definition
Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-surgical procedure that is applied in the same manner as a tattoo, applying thousands of tiny dots (impressions) on the scalp to create the illusion of a freshly shaved head.
SMP is a specialized form of cosmetic tattooing but unlike regular tattoos, SMP requires artists who can expertly match the pigment to the tone of the shaved hair follicle, which is typically a shade of gray.
The machine used in SMP employs micro-needles to place pigment in the epidermis, the top layer of the skin, resulting in a semi-permanent solution that lasts 3-5 years, with touch-ups needed after. It is crucial that each client must abide by proper post treatment care.
